High Precision Double-side Lamella Edge Milling Machine

Double-side milling machine with 2 bottom feed chains for symmetric edge trimming (formatting) of top layer lamellas after drying, incl. “centered” infeed for optimized yield even with strong bending, lengthwise cupping or mixed oversize.

High feed speed machining and perfect side faces

High feed speed machining (up to 100 m/min.) and perfect side faces, no tear-out or chipping, outstanding tolerances for straightness and parallelism - ideal for edge glueing.

Pneumatic top pressure system (v-belts) and lamella transport by high accuracy roller guided feed chains. Pneumatic roller centering infeed system according geometrical center-line for optimized & “balanced” machining of “Bananas” or other dying deformations. Perfect machining of side faces by opposing and “with feed” milling.

Fully automated width setting, infeed in-line or via manual hopper feeder, on request with additional width measuring system incl. extraction of undersize lamellas. Straightness, parallelism and width below +/- 0,05 mm (per m).

Optional: with 2 additional pre-cutters for higher feed speed, large oversize or reduction to next smaller standard-size.
